Self-levelling floor screed is a cement-based mix designed for use on all types of flooring. It is machine applied, thus making it less labour intensive and quicker to apply: we can pump up to 500sq/m of cement in a few hours, allowing large areas to be poured at one time which is more cost effective for you, the customer.

Our screeds provide superior performance for underfloor heating, wooden frame houses and renovations and provides a smooth level finish ideal for tiles, carpets and timber floors and is laid by our experienced team who have the technical expertise to meet specific project requirements.

In the case of underfloor heating, we ensure that the screed is installed to the correct level to ensure optimum performance of underfloor heating by reducing the energy required to provide an even and consistent temperature throughout your home.

Floor Preparation Requirements

It is essential that the floor is prepared to highest standard before the screed is applied. That means that the build must be wateright and all doors and windows covered with polythene. The floor must also be free of any type of debris. You should also avoid the use of any foil backed tape such as those supplied with insulation boards in areas where it may come into contract with the screed. That is because the metal can react to the screed and create gases.
